BESPOKE
Every commission begins with getting to know you: the story behind the piece, what it means to you and how you imagine wearing it. Elsa takes the time to listen and explore your ideas, bringing her eye for form, proportion and detail to the design.
You may begin with an idea of your own, a place that means something to you, an object you have inherited or a pattern that has caught your eye. Elsa can draw inspiration from the shapes, textures and details of these references and translate them into a jewellery design. A gemstone you already own or a detail from one of her collections may also provide the starting point.
You may wish to commission an engagement ring, wedding bands, earrings, a pendant or another piece of jewellery. The design can be entirely new or a personal interpretation of an existing piece.

Commissioned as a gift for a woman who rarely wore jewellery, this pendant was designed to feel discreet and personal. Crafted in 18k white gold with a 5 mm brilliant-cut diamond, its geometric openwork draws on the ironwork balconies of Mytilene.
REIMAGINING EXISTING JEWELLERY
Gold and gemstones from jewellery you already own may become part of a new design. Elsa first assesses their suitability, then explores how they might be used in the new piece.

Created as a one-of-a-kind commission, this necklace brings together abstract human figures in 18k rose gold, finished with a single diamond as a discreet point of light.
THE PROCESS
A FIRST CONVERSATION
Meet Elsa at her studio in Kerameikos, Athens, or speak with her by phone or video. This initial conversation is complimentary. You can share your ideas, your preferred timeframe and the budget you feel comfortable with. There is no need to decide on a design during this meeting.
DEVELOPING YOUR IDEA
After your conversation, Elsa takes time to consider the commission. She then explains the design fee, what it covers and the next steps. This fee is paid before the search for stones or design work begins. If you decide to have the piece made, the design fee you have already paid is deducted from the total price of the jewellery.
DESIGN AND STONE SELECTION
Elsa explores suitable stones where needed and develops the design, working with a CAD specialist to create 3D visuals of the proposed piece. You will review these together and discuss any refinements before the design is finalised.

A personal interpretation of an existing Elsa Mouzaki design, this ring was made for a client with a specially selected 8 mm rhodolite, an 18k gold setting and a rhodium-plated silver band.
APPROVAL AND MAKING
Once you are happy with the design, materials and any stones, Elsa provides a final price and anticipated timeframe for your approval. You then pay the production deposit, minus the design fee already paid, and making begins. The remaining balance is due when the piece is complete.
